| This kit is CAD designed with strength and lightness in mind. The starter plates are CNC machined from a 3/8" 6061-T6 aluminum plate ensuring an excellent seal on the engine cases. Part numbers M1175, M1176, M1177, and M1180 have crankshaft support with the use of an external bearing holder. This is helpful with the abuse a hand-held external starter gives to the long crank stub, plus it gives extra stability at high RPMs. No external support is provided, or needed on numbers M1178 or M1179. All kits include mounting bolts and a seal. Kits with crankshaft support also include a bearing holder, bearing holder bolts, bearing, and an o-ring. M1178 and M1179 include a starter nut and bolt. All other kits do not include a starter nut.
