| The PMFR front end assembly is the best, lightest, and most
aerodynamic front end on the market today! This unit is CAD designed
and CNC machined. The triple trees are available in 168mm or 180mm
width, with integral clamps (shown right and center) or standard for
separate clamps and machined from solid 6061-T651 aluminum. The stem
is also 6061-T651 and available for a variety of applications. The
fork tubes are made of 4130 chrome moly for extra durability,
available in 23" to 30" lengths, and capped with air valves for
tuning at the track. Manufacturing processes for these tubes include
grinding the OD undersize, hardchrome plating for wear resistance
and then a final OD grinding to very close tolerances. The lower
legs begin there life as 2 ¾" solid square 2024-T351 aluminum and
thru a variety of magical processes involving absolutely NO welding
or sleeving become the beautiful round pieces pictured. A bolt on
fork brace allows for single disk brake applications without
excessive twisting of the lower legs. Finish this off with a
lightweight 15mm aluminum axle and you have a package that weighs
only 10.5 pounds! (Your weight may vary depending on tube length and
